Jennifer E. Gowers – GoPro Event Solutions President

Jennifer discovered her love for event planning while working with the events committee at Auburn University. While earning her degree in Marketing, she became the Special Events Director and Major Entertainment Director of the University Program Council at Auburn. After graduating, Jennifer was hired by a major concert promotions company where she provided a variety of coordination services including artist dressing room hospitality, bookkeeping and festival catering. She worked for Red Mountain Entertainment at Oak Mountain Amphitheater where she was their Backstage Catering Coordinator for regional festivals such as City Stages, Mobile’s Bayfest, and Montgomery Jubilee. To this day, Jennifer continues to work with many of the major regional festivals.

In 2001, Jennifer joined WorkPlay Theatre Inc. and after a wonderful 6 years she finally broke out onto her own with GoPro Event Solutions. Jennifer’s event experience was greatly broadened by her work with a major event facility here in Birmingham. With the concert industry and event industry, she expanded her experience into almost every facet of event planning and production. Jennifer continues to educate herself in the event industry by attending tradeshows to learn more about current trends in the industry. She joined the International Special Events Society this past year and has plans to become a Certified Special Event Planner.

After 17 years, GoPro Event Solutions is the final step in Jennifer’s quest in establishing the ultimate event planning option. GoPro Event Solutions provides clients with consulting & management of their event by bringing together the best ingredients for her client’s event. This includes researching venues, caterers, décor options, and entertainment booking. Every event is unique, and with the right management element that GoPro provides, it is also enjoyable & rewarding. Jennifer’s goal is to produce events that make her clients job easier and allow them to network, promote, and actually enjoy the event they envisioned hosting.
